Introduction of the Emei 18 Methods

In qigong, we often define health as wholeness, characterized by the free flow of Qi (Energy) throughout the body and yin-yang balance in harmony with the external world. On the contrary, disease is defined as blocked Qi and stagnation of Qi and blood. Practicing qigong regularly, we know, can help to harmonize our whole body, especially during these times when we may feel pulled in many directions and/or rushing around as life often requires us to do.

The Emei Qigong 18 Methods was created by Grandmaster Fu Wei Zhong to aid the urgency for finding a method that meets the requirements of this quickened pace of modern life.

Grandmaster Fu has taught the Emei 18 Methods in China, Hong Kong, Singapore and in the United States for more than 20 years. Currently Zhang Hao Yang (Young, pictured above and below) is studying with Grandmaster Fu in China, and Grandmaster has asked Young to teach us several forms including: Feeling the Qi, Emei Twelve Forms, Emei 18 Methods and the Emei Fengshui instruction.

The intention for practicing the Emei 18 Methods is to cultivate Qi and help to restore its free flow throughout the body. It will help to restore the smooth flow of Qi in the channels and internal organs, enabling healing.

The practice of Emei 18 Methods may be safely combined with medicines and treatments especially in chronic, challenging and complicated diseases and in some cases, may enhance the treatments efficacy. In addition, we can feel that the hectic pace of modern life creates more stress on us than than ever before. As a result, inner peace and a sense of calmness has become elusive to modern humanity. The good news is that Emei 18 Methods not only restores health, but also restores harmony with nature, all while providing serenity and deep relaxation.

Practicing Emei 18 Methods takes us further along the path of realizing sudden enlightenment during our work and daily life.
