Calendar of Events for Emei Qigong held at Holistic Therapies Classroom
Patricia Bolger holds weekly events at the Holistic Therapies Classroom, 15 South Elm Street, in Wallingford. Pat has been actively teaching Emei Qigong since 2002, and recently held Level I, II and III classes in Wallingford. In addition to these larger classes, regular one hour Wuji Gong classes are held each Wednesday. Patricia also offers one day classes in Bi Gu (Grain Free Food Therapy Classes). Some seminars and classes are offered at other locations, so please check the calendar for details and for our additional classes and meditations.
Wuji Gong Practice – Held every Wednesday at noon.
Joining a group practice is an excellent way to learn Wuji Gong, the fundamental form of Emei Qigong, and to keep your practice strong. Some students practice only once a week, at group practice. Others use the group practice as a way of keeping themselves motivated and disciplined. Group practices are a wonderful opportunity to feel and build the group energy field within our community. The group field intensifies the healing result. The Wuji Gong classes last one hour and the cost is by donation.
Silent Meditation and QiGong Group Healing – Held the first Thursday of each month.
In this powerful meditation, the Universal mantra is used to harmonize the group field at the onset. The format of this event is a silent Chan (Zen) meditation. A group healing is then initiated with meta-acupuncture, allowing for a deep meditation. The silent meditation continues after the healing for 30 minutes. Afterwards, a qigong closing performed to gently allow the room to come back to center. This event typically lasts one hour. The cost of this event is by donation.
